I have just come back from a weeks surf holiday in Morocco with a friend that I met in Australia about 12 years ago, to be honest it would have been more of a surf holiday if there had been better waves but never the less we still got a few goods days of surfing and the rest was spent exploring with our cameras. We stayed in a fantastic lodge in a surfing town called Taghazout situated on the west coast, a fantastic stretch of coast line that has some of the worlds best right hand points.
On the days we didn’t manage to get in the water we spent our time driving up the coast and stopping at various towns and villages hoping to capture some amazing colours and people that Morocco is so famous for. It quickly came to our attention though that the locals weren’t to keen on having there photographs taken, but with a little charm, and donations consisting of our cloths, money and even a pair of my friends old trainers we managed to capture a few amazing images. Here are just a few of the photographs I took along my morocco travels!
