The perfect fine art album

We are so proud to be able to now offer our clients the option of having their images displayed within a beautiful Folio album and they sit perfectly alongside our Jorgensen matted Albums.

For us Folio is a brand we adore, created by photographers, so the set up is all about displaying the images to make them look even more fabulous! The images are flushmount which means your images can be printed larger on the page and can bleed right to the edges, which makes for a great dynamic design. Because there’s a seamless spine, images can be spread across the both two pages, some examples of which you’ll see below. After the album has been beautifully handcrafted, your names can be debossed on the cover – simple and elegant.

Our Folio album cover options are covers in silk, pure linen or soft supple leather, luxury is assured. We chose for my samples a 10×10″ album in Ivory leather a 12×12″ in Wedgewood blue and a duplicate 6×6″ Parent album in the same material.

The printing really is beautiful and perfect – the colours are luxurious and have a quality feel to them. The albums come packaged complete within their own organic brown box, inside a soft linen carry bag… just beautiful!

Natalie & Stuart's Wedding

It was a real joy to shoot Natalie & Stuart’s stunning wedding at Rudding Park in Harrogate on 19th April this year.

They are a truly romantic couple and gave each other beautiful gifts before the ceremony and in the speeches (the painting of Henry their dog was beautiful) but for me the best was the lovely message Stuart wrote on the bottom of Natalie’s shoe.

The day kicked off with Natalie getting ready with the girls with the lovely Victoria Farr on bridesmaid hairdressing styling duty and Stuart having a round of golf to shake off the last minute.com mini UK stag party he’d had the night before.

After the lovely service we took them away for a little shoot but couldn’t stay outside long. It was beautiful and sunny and the warmest day we’d had for a while, but as they live in Dubai it was too cold to be out for long. So we made use of the stunning modern staircase in Rudding Park for some styled images. Natalie’s dress was just beautiful and we just had to make the most of the back by taking a picture of it down the old staircase next to the ceremony room.

We also had a bit of fun with some groupshots of the bridal party and did a sock group shot, as Stuart is known for his love of colourful socks so all the groomsmen had different colour socks with Stuart having his favourite colour orange!

It was a real pleasure to be with this lovely couple and their friends and families on this very special day – we hope you enjoy these images as much as we have enjoyed creating them!

Gemma & Michael's

Rowntrees Park, York

We are really looking forward to Gemma & Michael’s wedding in York this May – they are such a lovely couple and we’re sure their wedding is going to be fun!

When we first met Gemma we realised we knew similar people through our old life working in marketing, design and advertising, it always amazes us how everyone in that industry seems to know each other!

We took these two off to Rowntrees Park in York for their engagement shoot before they popped on the train back to London, its such a beautiful park and we’re glad we showed these two a place in York they hadn’t been before.

Natalie & Stuart's

Rudding Park, Harrogate

Today we shot Natalie & Stuart’s engagement shot – tomorrow we shoot their wedding!!!

Natalie & Stuart live in Dubaii so our meetings have been all on Skype and Facebook and Stuart only flew into the UK on Wednesday hence why the engagement shoot was left until the last minute! Natalie had chosen Rudding Park as their wedding venue as she had such happy memories of riding there at pony club when she was growing up, but up until Wednesday Stuart had never seen it – so taking him around the grounds today to shoot was a real eye opener to just how beautiful it is!

We just wanted to blog a few now so they can wake up and see some of the images before the actual ceremony! Hope you like them! Now its bedtime for us – big day tomorrow!

Lizzy & Oli's

Brighton

When Lizzy and Oli mentioned that they wanted to do their engagement shoot in Brighton, we jumped at the chance! We ourselves met just 40 minutes drive from Brighton, so we understand just how special the place is!

Lizzy and Oli have just moved away from Brighton and relocated in Peterborough, so this engagement shoot meant that they have images of them in a town they have so many memories – we just adore this sentiment. We are really looking forward to their wedding at Appleforth Abbey and The Hawkhills later this year, by the amount of planning and scrap books Lizzy has done so far, its going to be out of this world!!!

We hope you enjoy looking through a few of their engagement shoot images as much as we enjoyed taking them – it was great fun for us to get out and get creative, for starters, you don’t get many seagulls in York!!!
