Yorkshire Living Brides Wedding Fair

On Sunday 1st April we set up our fabulous new stand at York Race Course for our first of 2012’s wedding fairs.

Zoe & I met many excited Brides, Mothers of the Bride & Bridesmaids to be, as well as a few grooms! It was brilliant to hear all about their wonderful up and coming wedding plans. If you were one of the brides or grooms that came to talk to us, thank you and you will already know about our show offer. To create our stunning new stand, we commissioned Tom Edington from Edington Wilson to design it for us, to complete the design we asked the lovely Georgie at Chic-osity to help us find the frames and lamp that would be in keeping with our style – she delivered in record time and we are so grateful – Georgie you are a true star! We also asked the amazingly talented Fiona & Miranda at Fiona Hogg Floral Designs to create flowers befitting for our stand, which were perfectly on brief and we had many compliments about, thank you so much ladies! We also had to enlist our wonderful friend Lisette as chief Shortbread baker, you truly are the best biscuit maker in the land, thank you so much!!! And last but not least, many thanks again to Alison Spaven from Yorkshire Living Brides for putting on a really great show.

On Sunday 27th May we’ll be at Sutton Park’s wedding fair and we hope you’ll be there, we’re looking forward to meeting some more brides, and grooms and hearing their plans.
